Ingredients

  • 6 cups cubed day-old bread
  • 1 ½ cups mixed berries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Powdered sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish generously.
  2. Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. Scatter berries over the bread.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Whisk in eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  6. Pour mixture evenly over bread and berries.

  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until set.

Notes
