Description

These party-size pigs in a blanket are flaky, buttery, and perfect for feeding a crowd. Made with crescent roll dough and juicy mini sausages, this cozy appetizer is easy to prepare and always disappears fast at parties, holidays, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages mini smoked sausages (about 40 pieces)
  • 1 large egg
  • Optional: sesame seeds or everything seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and cut each triangle into 3 equal strips.
  3. Wrap one mini sausage with each strip of dough, starting at the wide end.
  4. Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheets.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with toppings if desired.
  6. Bake for 14–16 minutes until golden and puffed.

Notes

You can assemble these ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake. For best texture, reheat leftovers in the oven instead of the microwave. These also freeze well before baking.
