Description

These heart-shaped pancakes with strawberry syrup are fluffy, comforting, and made with love. I prepare them for special mornings when I want breakfast to feel warm, romantic, and unforgettable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer until syrupy.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add milk, egg, butter, and vanilla and stir gently.
  4. Heat a greased skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour batter into heart shapes and cook until bubbles form.
  6. Flip and cook until golden.
  7. Serve warm with strawberry syrup.

Notes

Let the batter rest for fluffier pancakes. Store leftover syrup in the fridge for up to one week.
