Description

These Classic Crescent Roll Pigs in a Blanket are buttery, flaky, and irresistibly comforting. I wrap juicy mini sausages in soft crescent roll dough and bake them until golden for the perfect party snack or family-friendly appetizer everyone loves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 24 mini sausages or cocktail wieners
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional)
  • Everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate crescent roll dough into triangles and cut each into smaller strips.
  3. Pat sausages dry and place one at the wide end of each dough strip.
  4. Roll dough around each sausage and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush tops lightly with beaten egg and sprinkle seasoning if desired.
  6. Bake for 12โ€“15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

Patting the sausages dry helps prevent soggy dough. You can assemble these ahead of time and refrigerate unbaked until ready to bake. Leftovers reheat best in the oven at 350ยฐF.
